BIAS FX2 also has a "guitar match" feature where you take your favorite axe and let the software analyze the pickups. Many amp models, pedals, tones from the cloud. The app interfaces look amazingly similar and function very much the same. There's a big overlap between what the Spark amp can do and what BIAS FX2 does.
I'm seriously thinking of upgrading to the Pro version as that will only be $59 and it will give me a bunch more amp models, pedals and more guitars in the guitar match feature. The BIAS FX2 software is $59 for the next few days and even though I got mine for free, it would have been well worth the price. Everything came to about $250 so it was a modest investment that's given me hours and hours of enjoyment just playing with all the sounds and features. I had recently purchased an audio interface for about $70, some studio monitors, headphones and load balanced cables. I was truly amazed at what this software does. While waiting for my Spark amp to arrive (which took every bit of 6 months) Positive Grid, which makes great stuff whether you like their marketing methods or not, gave me a free copy of BIAS FX2 software as a "we're sorry it's taking so long" gift. So here's a shameless, unpaid plug that some of you may be interested in, especially if you're considering starting up a small home studio or already have one.
